What is EQUUS 2013- Evolution?
A project of experimentations leading to an exciting exhibition of cutting edge equestrian art.

A group of leading equestrian artist will participate to the project and will be challenged to experiment and develop their works to new extreme over a year. The artists selected are chosen because they are already starting to move their art to new directions. The purpose of this project is to gather a group of leading equestrian artist working in different style sharing ideas, creating a common story of experimentation. Those artists will be challenged to present new visions and new fresh approach to equestrian art.

The project will start in May/June 2012 where the artists will meet up to start off the project with a workshop. We will also start a blog that will run for the duration of the project with the stories, the progress, ideas and sketches. Artists will meet up few times during the project. The project will be online for a year via a blog with the final exhibition (Location TBD) where sculptures, paintings and sketches will be displayed.

What is EQUUS 2013- Evolution?

A group of leading artist, a project of experimentation over a year, a blog listing the stories and an exhibition of equestrian art where boundaries are pushed to new extreme.
EQUUS 2013- Evolution is a project of experimentations leading to an exciting exhibition of cutting edge equestrian art.

The detail

A group of leading artist will involved in the project and will be challenged to experiment and develop their works to new extreme over a year.

The purpose of this project is to gather a group of leading artist working in different style sharing ideas, creating a common story of experimentation, a creative and exciting environment. Most artists are already experimenting a bit with their art, constantly moving it in different direction but I believe that gathering in a group, bouncing ideas against each other will provide a more powerful and exciting result.

This is more than an exhibition, it is a year project, a journey of experimentation and an exhibition and hopefully something quite special is going to come out of this.
The end goal is to present new visions and new fresh approach to equestrian art.
The project will be online for a year via a blog and website with the final exhibition  (Location to be confirmed) where sculptures, paintings and sketches will be displayed.

We will also start a blog that will run for the duration of the project with the stories, the progress, ideas and sketches. Artists will meet up few times during the project to share experience and discuss ideas.
